In this course the focus is on dealing with customers, being an effective team member, prioritising work flow and using a range of office software programs. Our self-paced study mode means that you can progress at a pace that is comfortable for you without the stress of assessment due dates and rigid class timetables. Our unlimited trainer support means that you will always have someone to help.

All training, assessment and student services for this course are offered by Adapt Education (RTO# 32452). We do not act as a broker and no aspect of your enrolment will be outsourced to another organisation.

  • Training modes for this qualification include: self paced online, self paced correspondence, or blended delivery
  • If you are already working in a role that involves administration, a practical placement will generally not be required. In instances where a student is not currently in a relevant job role, a practical placement of 200hrs should be arranged. Adapt Education can arrange your placement for you or you can arrange your own.

Duration

In most instances you will have up to 2 years to complete this qualification. Being self-paced study you can enrol at any time and progress at any speed you like without the stress of due dates and rigid class time tables. Study duration depends on the hours you put in and your skill level. As a guide, someone dedicating 8 hours per week to study, could expect to complete the assessment component of the course in 6 – 8 months.

Note: students receiving government funding may be obligated to complete the program in a shorter time frame:

  • Centrelink (education supplement): Full time 33 weeks, part time 55 weeks
  • Traineeship: Full time up to 12 months, part time up to 24 months
  • Certificate 3 Guarantee: self-paced up to 24 months

Payment plans are offered at no additional cost! That’s right, you DO NOT pay more if you opt for a payment plan. All Fees can be incorporated into a payment plan. You nominate the payment periods (i.e. weekly, fortnightly or monthly). You nominate the amount you are comfortable paying (i.e. $50, $100, $200, etc.). The terms of each payment plan are nominated by you, then approved by us. All payment terms and conditions are agreed to in a direct debit agreement and are in line with National Vocational standards.

Upfront Payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer, cheque, money order or cash. Payment plans are processed with a direct debit system.

Requirements
  • It is an expectation that you will have access to a computer and the internet to complete the assessment requirements of the course. Please discuss with Adapt if this is an issue as strategies can be put in place to assist.
  • It is expected that students have well developed Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Students who do not meet the minimum LLN requirements for this course will be provided a range of options and strategies to assist.
